New single, produced by Batutinha in partnership with Furacão 2000, arrives on streaming platforms and will be celebrated with a launch party in Milan
Luana Absoluta is ready to turn a new page, without leaving behind the history that brought her to where she is today. The artist returns to the roots of Brazilian funk with “LAUNA,” her new single, which arrives on digital platforms on October 23rd. The track is a special collaboration with Furacão 2000, featuring musical production by Batutinha.
The release promises to shake up the funk scene and marks a new artistic identity for Luana, who has built much of her career between Brazil and Italy.
The name of this new phase was no accident. “LAUNA” is Luana Absoluta’s alter ego, a persona representing the singer she always dreamed of becoming: the one who takes the stage, wins over the audience, and gets everyone dancing.
“LAUNA is the Luana Absoluta I always dreamed of being. It’s my artistic side, my dream. It’s the singer who wants to be loved by the audience, to step onto the stage and make everyone dance,” she reveals.
A DREAM RETURNS TO THE STAGE
The partnership with Furacão 2000 holds special significance for Luana. A passionate fan of funk carioca, the artist views this project as a reunion with an essential part of her own history.

“I have always been completely in love with funk carioca and Furacão 2000. Releasing this track with them is an honor and carries great meaning for me. It’s like returning to a part of my own story that has always remained within me.”
And the debut won’t be limited to digital platforms alone. On October 25th, just two days after the official release, Luana Absoluta will arrive in Milan, Italy, for a special release party featuring a live performance.
The event is supported by Dinha Productions, a Brazilian event production company based in Milan that is helping to organize the Italian launch.
FROM RIO FUNK TO THE WORLD
Luana’s vision is to turn “LAUNA” into a musical bridge between the two countries that now shape her personal history.
“I want this music to be a bridge. Funk was born in Brazil, it’s part of my story but I’ve built a huge part of my life in Italy. I want to bring Brazilian funk here, while simultaneously showcasing everything I’ve built in Italy back in Brazil.”
Following the party in Milan, the promotional campaign will continue with social media content, dance, and collaborations with both Brazilian and Italian content creators and influencers.
In November, Luana will return to Rio de Janeiro for the next phase of the campaign, which will include content production and live performances throughout her time in Brazil.
