Grupo Samprazer Announces New Album “Reviver – O Lado B da Nossa História”
Project blends reimagined classics, new material, and a standout tribute to Jorge Vercillo
This May, unveils their highly anticipated album “Reviver – O Lado B da Nossa História” across all digital platforms. The project features 15 tracks, including 13 re-recordings that revisit defining moments in the group’s career, alongside two original songs and three bonus tracks. The album offers a heartfelt revival of songs that shaped Samprazer’s journey, now presented with fresh arrangements and renewed emotion.
Recorded at in , the album benefits from executive production by Renato Marinho and Jorginho Vinicius. The result is a project marked by refined sonic quality, strong musical identity, and emotional depth throughout.
The first single, “Sabor de Hortelã,” introduces listeners to the album’s concept with a revitalized arrangement that bridges the group’s roots and a more contemporary sound. This reinterpretation preserves the essence that has long resonated with fans while signaling a new artistic phase.
Among the album’s highlights are “Foi Deus Quem Me Deu,” written by Rodrigo Tiago and Felipe Silva, and a special reinterpretation of “Silêncio na Favela,” originally by . The latter will also receive a music video, filmed in a community in São Paulo’s South Zone, reinforcing the project’s connection to real stories and lived experiences.
