The businesswoman and social leader Tatiana Monteiro de Barros, founder and president of the União BR Movement, was recently honored by the Brazilian artist José Augusto, recognized for his work as a realistic portraitist.
Leading the União BR Movement since March 2020, Tatiana leads one of the largest voluntary and non-partisan social mobilization initiatives in the country. Initially created as a response to the pandemic, the movement expanded its reach to assist victims of floods, droughts, landslides, and other humanitarian crises, connecting companies, volunteers, and organizations in a broad network of solidarity and logistical support throughout Brazil.
With a degree in Business Administration, Tatiana built a solid career in the private sector, working in the live marketing segment, where she was a partner in the Multicase agency. She also developed a career in the fashion market, representing the traditional Italian brand La Perla in Brazil. Her business experience contributed to building a strategic and efficient management in the social field, combining corporate vision and humanitarian commitment.
José Augusto, in turn, built his artistic career focusing on realism and emotional depth. His work is marked by technical precision, mastery of light and shadow, and the ability to capture the human essence in each portrait. The artist gained national prominence when his talent was recognized on the traditional Silvio Santos Program, broadcast by SBT, where he presented a portrait of the presenter Silvio Santos, a moment that consolidated his name in the artistic scene.

Internationally, he stood out by producing a portrait of the singer Demi Lovato, a work that gained recognition and was acquired by the artist’s mother, demonstrating that his talent transcends borders.
